Q: What is a Poupon?
A Poupon is a promotional value coupon that can be purchased online and redeemed for a single (non-series), adult class - which is most of our classes. 2024 Poupons can be purchased for $72.99 and redeemed for most of our $104 adult classes - a savings of 30%!
Q: How do I receive/redeem my Poupon?
Within 72 hours of purchase, you will receive an email with a personalized Poupon Number to redeem/book your class on our website. For example, if you purchase 5 Poupons, you will receive 1 Poupon Number that can be used 5 separate times.
Q: When can I start using it? And does it ever expire?
You can start using them on March 15, 2024 and the promotional value expires on November 15, 2024. The promotional value is only good for classes booked and occurring between March 15, 2024 through November 15, 2024. To get the full promotional value of your Poupon, use them for classes occurring on or before November 15, 2024. The paid amount of $72.99 towards a class never expires.

Q: Can I book a more expensive single adult class (like a $114 class) and apply my Poupon/ pay the difference?
Yes!
Q: Can I use this for kids classes, parents and kids, or kids camps?
No, Poupons are good for adult classes only
Q: Can I apply my Poupon(s) towards a Series, like Pro-Chef or Learn To Cook?
No, Poupons are only valid for single classes
Q: Can I use this towards merchandise, or any other services like knife sharpening?
We release these every year as a way to encourage people to come get the full PREP experience with our amazing chefs and crew, so these are only good for class-use.
Q: Not really a question, but “Poupon” is an odd name.
We know. And look, it’s been this way for over 18 years. There’s no going back now. The original thought behind it was “Prep + Coupon.” Plus, Grey Poupon is a food and we do food so it works.

These terms and conditions herein supersede any other prior terms.
“Poupon” - Promotional Value Coupon (2024 Poupons are currently priced at $72.99)
“Promotional Value” - Current cost of one regular-priced Adult Cooking Class. Poupon is good for one regular-priced Adult Cooking Class during the Promotional Period. The Promotional Value can be used toward a higher priced single (non-series) adult class if the balance owed is paid with cash/credit card. Must redeem Poupons by November 15, 2024 for classes occurring on or before November 15, 2024 to receive full Promotional Value. Promotional Value expires on November 15, 2024. Purchase price of $72.99 towards a class never expires.
“Promotional Period” - March 15, 2024 through November 15, 2024 (a full 8 months). Promotional Value is valid for classes booked and occurring during the Promotional Period. If a Poupon is used to book a class occurring outside of the Promotional Period, only the purchase price of $72.99 will be counted toward the class, and the remaining balance will be owed. In the event that PREP reschedules a class that was originally booked during the Promotional Period, Promotional Value will be honored. For all other rescheduled classes after the Promotional Period, the purchase price of $72.99 will be applied, with the balance owed in cash/credit card.
“Poupon Number” - Immediately upon purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with an order number. This order number is NOT your Poupon Number. Within 72 hours of that confirmation email, our team will send you a second email with a personalized Poupon Number. Your Poupon Number will be redeemed to book classes online through our website. You will enter it as a "Gift or Discount Code” during checkout. If you have purchased multiple Poupons, the value of one regular-priced Adult Cooking Class will be deducted each time you use your Poupon Number until your full amount of Poupons are used. We recommend keeping track of your classes booked so you always know how many you have left.
Booking is subject to availability. Only 50% of total class space is reserved for Poupons. In rare cases, we may reach out to let you know that Poupon spaces are at capacity and ask you to choose a different class.
